I am so confused. Is it because the book is listed with IngramSparks? Should I stop the sale of the book with them first and then place it with Amazon?

This shouldn't be the root cause of the issue you're seeing. "Refurbished" is not a valid condition for books, are you able to list using a condition from the Books Condition guidelines?
