Pick up for FBA inventory shipment

Hi I want to send stock to my FBA inventory. It is arranged as small boxes. I have select my address as collection point and the destination is automatically selected to be Calgery FBA. I have used UPS but they haven’t showed up to collect my item from my place. I called them and they mentioned we don’t have you address as our pick up point. Amazon also mentioned it is your responsibility. So i am abit confused who is responsible and who will need to pay for that as I already have accept the charges on amazon shipping arrangements.

You need to drop them at the UPS pick up point or set a pick up online. They don't get picked up automatically.

That is the freight charge only. If you require a pickup, you pay extra. Otherwise, you have to drop it off at UPS warehouse yourself or a local drop off point.

Hello @Seller_aFy5lxMPOA7w8,

Thank you for reaching out regarding the issues you're facing with shipping your inventory to the FBA fulfillment center. Let me try to provide some clarity and guidance on this situation.

Firstly, the responsibility for arranging and paying for the pickup of your inventory from your location falls on you as the seller. When you select the "Collection point" option in Seller Central, it means you are responsible for getting the inventory to the carrier's pickup point, not the other way around.

The UPS issue you encountered, where they mentioned not having your address as a pickup point, is likely due to you needing to set up a UPS pickup account and provide them with the necessary information. This is a step you would need to handle on your end before the carrier can come to your location to collect the inventory.

As for the shipping charges, if you have already accepted the charges through Amazon's shipping arrangements, then those costs should be covered. However, any additional fees or issues related to the pickup from your location would be your responsibility as the seller.

I would recommend the following steps to resolve this:

  1. Contact UPS again and work with them to set up a pickup account and provide the necessary address details. This will allow them to come to your location and collect the inventory.
  2. Alternatively, you can look into other carrier options, such as Amazon's own delivery service or other approved carriers, and set up the pickup from your location through their processes.
  3. Review the information and resources available in Seller Central. The help page: Ship products to Amazon, to ensure you fully understand the seller's responsibilities for inventory preparation and transportation.
  4. If you continue to face issues, you can reach out to Amazon's Seller Support for further assistance in navigating the FBA inventory shipping process.

Please let me know if you have any other questions! I'm happy to provide additional guidance.
