Buyer requesting refund for order with no street address and no last name. See what seller support told us.

problem got message from buyer package not received and wants a refund. Normal advice is file and a2z claim, but in checking tracking we find it hasn’t been delivered because it has no street address and no last name.

Call seller support.

first reaction refund the buyer.

Our reaction no way Amazon has responsibility for providing valid address and buyer is clearly scamming both Amazon and us. It was shipped by us.

yes we should have picked this up in shipping but we didn’t. We hate taking the ODr hut and Amazon requiring less and less handling time.

After more back and forth seller support advised-

1. File a saf-t claim.

2. Report buyer as fraulent.

3. Either refund buyer or negotiate with buyer for a partial refund.

we thought Ok this is logical, but as soon as we try to file the saf-t claim we can not file the claim without the return request being filed. Naturally not mentions by seller support.

We send message back to buyer about invalid address and missing last name.

We have been selling here since 2012 and this is the type of thing Amazon should be addressing.

Case number 75895399761.

Hi @Seller_7iQjFTabKHqyC,

Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums! I'm just coming across this thread and wanted to check in, has there been any updates on this order since posting?

Unfortunately, it seems I am unable to view the provided case ID. Do you happen to have any additional case IDs related to this situation?

Thanks again,
