Featured Offer 0%, Hmmm....
So my account is healthy, I called seller support and they said nothing is going on with my account. I am featured eligible, priced the cheapest, but just not happening. I am curious as to others insights on this. I actually have the box in a couple of the listings still as well...whchi is even more confusing. Is the 2 Days a lag, as in it was 2 DAYS ago I didn't have it, and the current feature %'s are higher? I have seen some other forum posts but haven't seen outcomes, so please let me know if anyone has insights. Nothing has changed with my account for a while, and then I saw this last night.
Featured offer is all Green Check YES, but offer 0%.
The only thing I see is response rate is high. Which I dont know why to be honest. I always respond quickly. But looking back I only had 4 or 5 messages....so if I was late that would get pretty high, quickly. I read that those features do not affect the account, but is featured offer considered something that would "affect the amount."
I have read it can be because amazon SQS reports dont submit, so it is actually an abscess of data. Which seems possible since some of my listings still have me as featured. I offer some listings where I am the only seller and have those. But at the moment I am reseller (currently developing products) and I know multiple sellers can muddy the process and I knew I was going to be competing more.
I will bounce back, and I don't have all my eggs in one basket...just looking for insight and help to get everything back on track

I have the same issue and many other sellers. I can only suggest guys everyone who have issues specially with Featured offer to report that to Federal Trade Commission on they are website. They don't deal with individual problems but if we get together and they receive a lot of complaints from many sellers they will act and they can do something about. Make an screen shot and keep all emails received from amazon as a response.

This is the same for us. We looked today and 0% Featured offer, however when I went to our listings, it showed us as the featured off. It looks like they are having some sort of an issue with that reporting.
The issue for me is Amazon is always having issues like this. From holding many sellers money for no reason under "Deferred Transactions", to moving items to categories which they no longer show well when being searched just to name a few recent ones and now have this show 0%,.
On the Deferred Transactions, they made a post about how they changed things for sellers who have these, but never told sellers like us why we do. We had this held for around 9 days and then they stopped and everything has been fine, but no reason from support or Amazon. it's just is what it is in their eyes.
I would guess this and many other issues will be the same way. We get hit with the problem, we take the loss and the stress, no one helps, mods act like their looking into it, but never realy have an answer and then if we are lucky it will pass, but we never really know why it happened. We may get a link to the help pages that explains how the featured offer works.
As I mentioned, right now it shows 0%, but all of the items we checked of ours shows us as the featured offer. My main concern is if the system is reflecting this, then it may actually be treating us as if we are not a featured offer eventhough we are and therefore not showing our listings like they would normally, which would tank our sales and our sales have been down the past two days, even more than usually.
Everytime something like this happens, at least for us, we notice the day of or day or two before that sales seem lower than usual and then there is a change by Amazon or an error like this. It's always is the case.
I can say that our sales have been going down the past three years, where as before our sales every year went up. We have been with Amazon over a decade with 8-9 straight years of growth and then the past three being a constant decline with it being down this year by about 65% from what it was three years ago. Two weeks ago we had our sales go up 40%, I thought that things were coming back up for us. Amazon then had the issue with the deferred transactions and then changed the categories for many of our listings and since then our sales have went back down.
We sell a lot of metal signs for businesses and they have them under kitchen items??? We will not get any help on this. Just spend a lot of time opening cases and getting told our case has been transfered to another team or maybe be asked for a screenshot of the issue and then get told this and if this "other team" actually replies, they will just ask us for the same thing until we finally hang it up because we have orders to focus on and cannot waste time with support who will not help.
Long story short, Amazon has issues, this is another and I doubt we will get any help. Amazon should look back to how they blew up into the large company they are and how well sellers and even normal customers perceived them back then. During these times, they had actual support for sellers, buyers paid for prime and actually received prime delivery times, they did not have all of these metrics and hurdles for sellers. I could list an new item and have sales that day. Now, if I list a new item, it struggles, if I need support, there is no one and if I am ordering an item as a buyer that is prime, it could take 5 days or even worse, they will show the item as a prime item, but it is not even in stock and you may not receive it for a few months while they wait to get it back instock. This is when they are not changing the delivery dates after you purchase an item. If I order 10 items prime, 5 arrive on time.
Are we allowed to sell items and say that a customer can buy it today, but we will not show for 2-3 months? That would be nice for new items wwouldn't it? Get orders in, see how well they sale and then once we get enough orders, get the item in and ship. Or if you do not have the funds for inventory, just list the item as shipping in a few months, and once you know it will sale and has sales, spend your money on the inventory. Better yet, Amazon has Seller Fulfilled prime. We have to ship these orders by a method that will arrive in 1-2 days and arrive on weekends. Does Amazon do this? No, we get items they claim will be delivered on Sunday or the next day. They ship UPS ground which is not next day and will no be delivered on the weekends. I never receive any orders that say next day delivery, they all have groud delivery. If I ship prime orders myself, I have to pay for express mail which means I have to sell a $10 item for $35 just to get it there in 1-2 days which no one well buy. Amazon knows how unrealistic these policies are. That is why they do not follow them.
Amazon needs to reflect and get back to what they were. You are never going to make everyone happy, but making less people happy cannot be the answer.

Apparently that metric (if you're talking about the display on the home screen), is a reliable indicator for some sellers, but for me it has never been.
Mine consistently shows 0%, yet I am in plenty of Buy Boxes. I don't even concern myself with it.
This is the only thing that's accurate for me.

Thanks for posting here. In general, Amazon does not guarantee Featured Offer selection for any seller and I won't be able to provide any details on how this selection is determined beyond the information provided in the Become the Featured Offer help page.
I see your support case doesn't include details on which ASINs you'd like to make Featured Offer Eligible. I would recommend opening a new case and providing the ASINs in question. Then, share your case ID in this thread and I'll look into seeing what options exist.
