Amazon VAT services - Action needed
From the 1st of August Amazon are going to charge VAT from the parent country ie: French VAT on French fees.
I spoke to Amazon VAT services yesterday and their previous reply.
Amazon VAT Services WILL NOT support reclaiming the VAT as their system only supports goods and not services.
Amazon VAT Services did not seem to know anything about the change coming in August. A different department apparently!
I would suggest every user of Amazon VAT Services opens a case on Seller Support in the hope they will take action quickly.

Isn't the change that billing will be done from the seller's country of establishment?
I also thought VAT Service didn't support sellers in their own country of establishment anyway?

amazon is just acting like a crazy little idiot child, they have made such a crap out of vat, instead they need to make it easy for the seller whom earn million and billion of dollars for amazon and jeff but it seems like amazon will dissolve in upcoming years for being so creepy
