Uploading invoices as a private seller

I cannot upload invoices for a business customer as I do not have a VAT number. What am I meant to do.

I cannot upload invoices for a business customer as I do not have a VAT number. What am I meant to do.

You cannot issue a VAT invoice if you are not VAT registered, but you can declare your VAT exempt status on Amazon and they will automatically upload a receipt for orders from business customers. Go to Tax settings in your Account info dropdown.

Unfortunately they won't do it retrospectively for past orders, so if you have had any such sales you will need to create your own invoice and upload it via the Manage Invoice button on the shipped orders page.

Here you go - see I am VAT-exempt and thus cannot provide VAT invoices. What do I have to do?

You can also let Amazon issue receipts on your behalf via the link from this page.
