PLEASE HELP. Account suspended due to "inauthentic" complaints received (which is not true)

My account was suspended due to “We received complaints about the authenticity of the items listed at the end of this email. In order to ensure that customers can shop with confidence on Amazon, we take “inauthentic” complaints seriously. The sale of counterfeit products on Amazon is strictly prohibited.”

The truth is I received 0 complaint and my account health is in “good” rating with 0 issues. it’s the same situation.

I’ve been sending POA and invoices but the performance team replies like a robot. They just repeating the suspention notification and leaves me nothing to do after mutiple tries with invoices+POA.

I’m so lost and don’t know where to go anyone any advice?

Thanks a lot. :sob::sob::sob::sob:

It’ll likely be a routine check, so it won’t show in your account as a complaint or anything else. If you’ve been asked for a PoA then that is usually a sign that there is a problem with the invoices and/or the supplier.

Share your PoA and i’m sure you’ll get some advice.

Hi.

As Demel said, your POA is real bad… but you know that already, so let’s break it apart:
Your WHAT WE T WRONG is pretty much not existent, but… something keeps coming back to you on those listings, since as you have said, you already have been suspended for those listings before.
Now, there can be few things that could bring it regardless of whether these products are genuine or not. Answer yourself those questions:
Do you repack those products before shipping?
Is your packaging for shipping adequate, so products are not getting damaged?
Is your supplier actual distributor or a wholesaler (Costco or Asda is not acceptable) and more importantly is your supplier authorised to sell those product by a manufacturer?
Can it be manufacturer reporting you to Amazon (sometimes brands do not want their products on Amazon for different reasons)?
Can it be competition reporting you?
It your product coming from China (unbranded) and you have joined some white label brand?

Without finding the reason for all those complaints Amazon will not even read the rest of your POA so you need to work it out…

Either way good luck

NORMALLY, I would say here that “inauthentic” complaints is a very misleading term that Amazon use since that encompasses a wide variety of issues regarding products arriving not-as-described as opposed to being fake goods, however in this particular situation it seems as though Amazon have been lead to believe either your goods are inauthentic or your supplier is dodgy, leaving you to prove otherwise.

Your PoA can be shortened considerably while still highlighting the key points… in the same vain there seem to be certain phrases Amazon watch for that can cause the PoA to get rejected instantly, one key issue many people have is that you must show that you understand exactly what caused the suspension, which isn’t easy when Amazon provide you with next-to-no information.

In this post: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/forums/t/please-help-account-suspended-due-to-inauthentic-complaints-received-which-is-not-true/381533/3?u=clearanceshed
Their reply indicates that they half-accepted your PoA but they wanted further information (all of the supplier details mentioned), if you respond with a short message which quotes their bullet points and includes the relevant responses AND has the invoice attached which also includes all that information, that might be enough for them to proceed (at which point they may actually review your PoA rather than instantly rejecting it)

Once you get this response you won’t always get responses via notifications or email regarding your latest PoA/etc. However you can usually contact seller support via phone and ask them to review any notes that have been left on your account to see if there has been a response (generally wait at least 48 hours between each attempt or they may suspend your case creation privileges)

Hi, I have had several complaints.

  1. Rookie mistake of having brand name Apple in my listing when selling Apple compatible products. Also selling Boshiho products which I did actually have authority to do from the brand but someonee registered a complain to me.

  2. Having the word Aviator in sunglass listing as there is a brand called Aviator.

Issue 2 was resolved by removing the word aviator from my listings.

Issue 1 which I think may be more helpful to share with you was resolved after 2 weeks of trying to understand what the issue was with the very unclear emails from Amazon. I couldn’t provide manufacturer or brand certificate for Apple as I wasn’t a authorised seller it was just a silly mistake. However I was authorised to sell the Boshiho brand products. So I had to send a POA covering both issues.

Each time I sent a plan of action they kept reply with the same response that the POA didnt address the issue. I found several templates online and eventually this one got me reactivated.

I just went through the 2 weeks of correspondence and I believe this was the last PLAN OF ACTION I sent them that was accepted. I think the drop box link should work as well so you can see the documents… It may not be exactly the same scenario but it will give you the template and staring point I hope.

My name is xxx and my shop name is xxx.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to appeal my seller account suspension due to the 3 complaints made about product authenticity (Ref attached file: Complaints.jpg).

Regarding Unauthenticity Boshiho ASIN B082Y7TWZM I have attached 3 documents:

  1. Invoice from supplier (Attachment: Boshiho_Invoice.pdf)
  2. Supplier brand certificate (Attachment: Boshiho_certificate.jpg)
  3. Letter of authorization for me to sell their products (Attachment: Boshiho_authorisation.jpg)

I hope this will satisfy your requirements for this complaint.

Regarding Unauthenticity complaint of ASIN B082RGHR1J and B082RJ5TDM (1 item x 2 colour variants) with word Apple:

I understand hat Amazon prohibits the sale of inauthentic products and I am very sorry that these listings have infringed on the intellectual property of brands or rights owners. I have implemented a plan of action to resolve the issue and prevent any further intellectual property violation of this nature. Please see my plan outlined below:

   I. The issues that caused the suspension:

a. As a new and inexperienced seller who has had an Amazon Seller account for a few weeks, I made the mistake of listing ASIN B082RGHR1J and B082RJ5TDM with content Apple. As I was starting out I used Apple and didn’t actually realise my mistake that by doing this I was actually advertising myself as the company Apple. I didn’t do enough research to identify that as Apple is a registered brand for which I need authorisation to sell their products, I should not be listing the content of my products under their name. I thought that by using the content Apple I was just telling customer that these products were for Apple phones. Not at any point did I realise that I was infringing the intellectual property rights of Apple. In no way did I make this error in order to gain advantageous gain. This probably sounds very silly and I am very sorry and embarrassed by this mistake. (I have added the supplier invoices from where I bought these through the website Alibaba – (Attachment: SuplierinvoiceB082RGHR1J&B082RJ5TDM.pdf)

II. The steps I have taken to resolve the issue:

a. In order to understand what I had done wrong to cause these complaints, I have spoken to Amazon Seller Support at length to understand the reasons for this suspension so that I don’t make the same mistake again as well as the process to create a plan of action. I have also read through the following Amazon policies to ensure I have a better understanding of the requirements in the future.

Product detail page rules

2. ```
 ASIN creation policy

Amazon Anti-Counterfeiting Policy

b. I have deleted all of my listings. If I am reinstated, I will not re-list any of these or any new products until I am completely satisfied that I am using either a valid generic or brand name and content that it is authorised and does not infringe on the intellectual property of brands or rights owners. I will also ensure that the products can be verified authentic to the brand I list them under by way of valid invoices, receipts and authorisation letters meeting Amazon’s requirements. I can assure that I will not list items with incorrect band names ever again.

c. Since I have received suspension notice, I shipped all remaining and pending orders immediately.

d. I have answered all customer messages, authorised, processed any return requests and resolved any concerns to the maximum customer satisfaction as you will note in m performance section.

III. Details of the steps taken to prevent similar issues from happening again:

a. I will ensure all products I list will be under a generic brand name or an authorised brand name and content in the future. I will ensure I purchase all my inventories directly from the manufacturers, who will be able to provide me valid invoices meeting Amazon’s requirements.

b. I will follow all Amazon policies and guidelines, and follow-up regularly to keep myself and my account updated.

c. I will take my time to check all the items before listing for sale to ensure that all my products are listed and labelled appropriately and contain the correct/relevant information. I will not rush to list products without carefully considering the consequence of each of my actions. I will correct any error by updating the listing with accurate information to fix the error.

d. If I do want to sell a branded product in the future, I will ensure that my account has the correct permissions to sell a specific item and if I don’t have permission, I will apply for permission from the brand owners to resell their items on Amazon before sourcing the item.

e. I will also continue to carry out daily performance audits to monitor and review my seller performance metrics to ensure my account performing and maintaining Amazon’s targets.

I take this suspension very seriously and I will not make such a mistake again. I honestly did not mean to break the rules and I do not take this mistake that I have made lightly. I will be much more diligent and careful when listing products on Amazon. I will also not rush my listings without careful consideration as I have in the past.

I believe that the above actions and solutions will effectively prevent my seller account from having any issues regarding unauthentic items in future.

I will only list items under the correct brand names and content and will ensure I have sourced them from official distribution channels and manufacturers so that authenticity can be completely verified through proper and valid documentation.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to review my appeal and I am looking forward to your confidence in allowing me to continue selling on Amazon.

Please can you kindly let me know what options I have in order to reinstate my Amazon Sellers Account?

Kind Regards,

PS - Dropbox link to documents in case they do not come through this time.

HOPE THIS HELPS.
