Should Amazon create tiers of support for sellers of different sales volume? For instance, keep the low-level tier of support for seller doing less than 50k annually, but offer higher levels of care for those selling more than 500k, or 1mm.
The more I read these forums, the more it seems like they are flooded with new sellers who have not put much effort into learning how Amazon works, and they come in here screaming and yelling about how they are getting cheated while they sell a couple thousand dollars of product per month.
These people certainly generate very little for Amazon, but use a lot of resources in support issues, for instance. This backs up the system and lowers the quality of service for everyone.
I'll pay Amazon about a half million in various fees this year. Why should I get the same level of care as someone generating 10k for Amazon?

Someone who is trying to support themself, working 8+ hours a day running a small business.....deserves less support than someone sitting on a yacht every weekend?

You didn't start out making millions of dollars on Amazon, and when you started you were a "little guy" too only generating a few thousand a month in sells too, and yet YOU used customer service, and to quote you " back[ed] up the system and lower[ed] the quality of service for everyone too.
So, shut your hole.

"Should Amazon create tiers of support for sellers"
They do. You just have to pay for it.

that is silly. you get the same respect as everyone which is none.
they do not care how much you make.

We did over 10 million is sales on Amazon last year. We are projected to pass that this year. They have tried to give me an account rep but want me to pay for that person. Flat out no. I give them enough money in fees every year. Do we deserve a different level, yes, because we bring more profit to Amazon.

Wow! You sound like Rose’s mother in Titanic! You are just something else! Were you always a big seller or did you start from scratch just like anyone else??

Pay a firm for it. Pay Amazon for their SAS.
Do we not remember the reason 3p marketplaces boomed? Because the big boys owned the store shelves, and smaller brands and businesses got a lot more eyes as the internet became more of a household norm.
Now we want to go back to venture capital backed companies, that are essentially just marketing companies, selling stuff they never touch, only sell, and have them have inside support that's better than their direct competition?
We want free market! But not for those others.... low earners, we deserve the C suite treatment.
