I'm starting to feel like there is no way to sell on Amazon.

Hello. Here’s another nice story about why selling on Amazon can be relatively brain-damaging.

The other day, a customer bought a product. The product was shipped within 24 hours, if I’m not mistaken. So far, so good. Then I received an email stating that the product was refunded, with the reason being "Missed fulfillment promise." Now, I’ve discovered that the money was taken from my account and refunded to the customer.

Now, I’d really like to know the answer to this question: If I’m using the Amazon FBA model, I’m curious, whose problem is it that the product wasn’t delivered to the customer on time? Whose responsibility is it to meet the fulfillment promises? Who is accountable for this? Do I have to fly from the other side of the world to the Amazon warehouse to fulfill my own product and ship it to the customer? This is outrageous! It’s absurd! It's disgusting! It’s not a large sum that was taken from me. It could be as little as $0.01, but it’s the principle that matters

Amazon is, but that doesn't mean they are going to refund out of their own pocket. Why would you keep $ for an item that wasn't sent out?
