Overwriting of Brand Name
@Manny_Amazon requests that I create a new post for a frequent problem:
I have the same problem with SANQIZ as others have. They somehow put their "brand" over mine on an ASIN that only I can sell.
My ASIN is HANDMADE, so I and ONLY I, can sell it.
I opened case 16528665551 and received an overly complicated answer on how to add a product that is new to the Amazon catalog. This is not what is needed.
I just want my brand name back.

Are you brand registered? If so, did you do a test buy?

When creating your listing, did you buy a UPC from GS1 attributed to your name, exactly as under "Legal Entity" in your account settings? If not, it wil be difficult to change back the brand.
Yes, we know that "officially" it's not allowed to change a brand in a listing and I don't know how these hijackers are able to do it.

You will not get much help Form Amazon. This is a common tactic used by other sellers when they see a good selling product that can easily be replicated. Especially if the reside in another country.
You are a legal business and have legal rights no different that LG or SONY. If you are the legal rights owner of the brand in the USA and the country the where the other seller resides, exercise your legal rights, Amazon will not do it for you because they have nothing to do with your business.

This has happened to me off and on for many years. 3 times last month. Amazon runs AWS the most secure web hosting network, but an overseas seller can come out of nowhere and kill your asin.
When this happens your asin is dead.
Good Luck

Same problem. Listings I created many years ago and am only seller. Listing now has some other Brand :( I had inquired about changing grandfathered listing to my now registered Brand or change UPC to identical branded product and merge. Told it was NOT possible. Although Brand has changed by someone (Amazon), that Brand does not sell any product on my listing. However, it does keep me from editing the listing unless I change to the bogus brand :( How did WERPOWER brand overwrite the brand in my ASIN B06Y3ZX Amazon when change was made and by who; won't correct.

This happens to lots of listings we have a few dozen items were bran changed and now we are blocked from selling and only the new incorrect brand can approve us as we are tired of this sheet we just shift items to other platforms as we will not continue to waste time on these issue let this site got to hell if they continue to allow stuff like this to happen.

@Manny_Amazon can you assist now?
I see that my brand name is back, but I am still not the brand owner, I have "restricted edit permissions" and cannot edit listing.
The description and bullet points do not show either.
