Competitive External Price - Bad data held by Amazon
ASIN lost Buy Box two months ago due to Competitive External Price.
There is no external offer at price Amazon state.
We do not sell this product outside of Amazon for a lower price.
We are brand registered and only seller of our products, both on Amazon and externally.
We have been selling this ASIN on Amazon for about 7 years.
Our case has been with "the responsible team" a few times, who "made necessary changes to the system", but "seller will win featured offer only if they have priced the product below the competitive reference price"
These changes have not resulted in any change to the incorrect Competitive External Price held by Amazon.
Amazon will not disclose the source of the price (our own testing has previously proven ebay is one source).
Any suggestions on what we do now?

I have a similar issue whereby the competitive price does exist but they aren't taking into account the £4 postage that site applies at checkout! So none of us on the listing gets the buy box as we can't get anywhere near it. The only way round it was having minimum order of 2 which is being discontinued this week so back to no sales from 300+ a week with the workaround...

I had this with one of our products. We are the manufacturer and brand registered and our own website has it listed at full price. I had to escalate this to the MD office and still argue it a few times. Took about a month but got them to reinstate the buy box eventually.

@ Like Game_and_Toy_1 I don't think the Competitive Pricing structure takes into account postage. It shouldn't really as postage varies.
However, one of our competitors is displaying their prices ex VAT on their website and the Competitive Price is not taking this into account.
