Amazon's Unfair Policies on Unsellable Items
I sell an item that is two pieces. The buyer of my item initiated a return. It was deemed unsellable by FBA, so it was returned to me. I received it, except it was only one of the two pieces. The buyer kept one piece, which by itself is useful, and returned the other piece. I'm out the full price.
Seller support tells me I have to provide the following TEN items in order to resolve this issue:
- Description of the missing component/part issue.
- Full image(s) of the unit(s) received.
- Images of the product missing the component if it is not visible in the full images.
- Images of the tracking labels or packing slips from the packages that contained unit(s) with missing components.
- Images of any damage to the shipping boxes.
- LPN (if any) (LPN number is a bar coded sticker usually attached to the packaging of the item).
- Six sided images of the actual product or package, if LPN or fnsku images not available.
- Quantity of units missing components or parts.
- FNSKU of the item.
- Shipment ID associated with the removal issue.
This is incredibly unfair! Can any of the helpful mods here explain how this is fair to sellers? Is there any reason why the brilliant associates who work at Amazon can't deal with this before sending it back to me as an incomplete return? This platform is complete and utter trash!!
