NO featured item \ buy box on listing

There are a number of items that we're selling which have NO featured offer, no buy box. These do not show a price, availability, or allow a buyer to put one in the basket. Often this is just one SKU of the same item - size M and XL will have a featured offer, but L will not.

I am well aware that there is a small "see all available options", but it is not very noticeable, and most buyers are unaware of it's existence. As such, when they go to buy, if they do not see any buy option, they assume that this item is not available and move on. If they showed more than just "see options" button, and put some prices\sellers below, without the buy box, that would work, since buyers would actually SEE an option. Without those, and with the only possibility to find and click on the "other options" button, these items basically do not sell.

I would think that Amazon would WANT this fixed, as it's causing them to lose sales. I know, they have some (meaningless) pat answer which explains without actually explaining, but the truth is that often this is a bug, just like when they deactivate an item for having a high price error when that price is 10% below both the buy box price as well as the lowest available price. If there was actually a problem with the SKU - doubtful since the other sizes have featured offers - then actually TELL US WHAT IT IS so that it can be fixed, rather than giving us useless scripted answers that do not answer anything.

Can anyone help with this?
