Buyer returned wrong item, return was approved (and refunded) 192 days ago

I'm FBM Seller

Buyer returned wrong item. Return was approved (and refunded) 192 days ago. I received the wrong item today.

I tried filing a safety claim but I get the error "Claims must be submitted within 60 calendar days of a refund being charged to your account."

What I sold the customer was a baby onesie. What was returned was a Halloween costume in their own branded return bag (with my label on it from 192 days ago).

Is there any recourse? I'm not sending this back to them unless they pay for the label (since they have already been reimbursed and no doubt got the labels mixed up).

Perfect example of just how unfunctional Auot-Bots can be handling returns. I would suggest having you reimbursed from the programmers' salary.

Completely unrelated, but I just wanted to share. Onesie is a copyrighted term by Gerber - has been since 1982. If you're not selling Gerber Onesies, you may want to change the wording to bodysuit to prevent Gerber's legal department from giving you more headaches on top of what Amazon gives you.

Customr returned the used other item but Amazon refunded.

A customer returned used other item but Amazon refunded. The third party sellers are not dumpster. We can't take return the disposible item we don't sell.

Amazon must know how many bad stealing is happening its own Amazon market.

We already know Amazon only cares about itself. Some day, Amazon will pay for it unless Amazon doesn't care about wrong claims and bad customers,

No one is forever. 1970 and 80's Sears was the best and the m,ost successful retailer but now it's gone.

Amazon must realize when is the last day for it without the third party sellers.

Amazon and the third party sellers must cooperate and its kinda partnership but I don't think Amazon does. Anyway we still need Amazon market to sell so we can't speak louder, unfortunately.

I have had two instances of this same thing. The first was a customer who returned a completely different pair of earrings that I don't sell, and the value is a small amount of what my goods cost. The second was a pair of foam-style clogs; all I sell is jewelry! Both items returned were valued way less than my product.

This is an issue with customer theft, and hopefully, these customers will be flagged in Amazon's system to prevent them from continuing this behavior.

Hopefully, Amazon finds a solution because after reading your post, I am sure it is happening to more sellers than just you and me.
