How are shoe sellers on Amazon selling name brands.

Nike specifically says on their website that they do not accept applications for resellers on Amazon or eBay. So how are sellers selling Nike Air Jordan's in unbranded listings on Amazon? Examples below:

Jordans

Jordans2

There are thousands of sellers here selling things they are not authorized to sell.

They just haven't been caught YET! The Amazon BOTS are too poorly programmed, and the programmers are too ignorant about Amazon policies, to do a simple search for terms such as Nike, Jordans, Jordans2 and so on, and suspend all the sellers on those ASINs (as well as the hundreds of OTHER gated/restricted brands).

For a high tech company they are basically incompetent.

Might as well ask "If the speed limit is 60, why are so many cars doing 80?"

They haven't all been caught yet. But more and more are being caught every day, some of them who have reportedly been selling unauthorized Nike for 6 years.

And it seems that the newer you are, the quicker Nike finds you and gets your account closed. I suspect that the ones you are linking to will be caught in the next few months.

Hello @Seller_eunKh39B163T7,

Thanks for posting to the Forums. As has been suggested, it's possible that those sellers have not been enforced yet, or have an agreement that allows them to list those products. If you believe they are not authorized to sell those products and have accompanying evidence for that, you can report these listings via the Report a Violation form.

Have a great day,

- Manny

also, sad part is that Amazon is well aware of which brands don't allow LOA or do LOA to any small business. Which is about 99.99% of sellers on Amazon, but they will take the cash and then suspend your account. it's a sad marketplace.

There is a guy called Reezy that's been on youtube for 10+ years going to stores and buying Nikes off the shelf and sending them to FBA - and in pretty big numbers - like 30 or 40 boxes at the time - and he seemingly has no problems with it. I think his account is Grandfathered in somehow because he's been on Amazon almost since the beginning.

I don't understand how he does it - and he does this with other brands that should be gated. He never talks about having to send invoices. It's weird.

In this case, first come first serve. If the bot sees the listing isn't new they will ignore it. Only a matter of time if Amazon wants to pursue these listings they will
