NOT HAD THIS BEFORE IN 17YEARS OF TRADING AND AMAZON WONT HELP
Hello,
i have a buyer who purchases an item from me £65 (we do it in 3 sizes and different prices) and the buyer says its a gift please do not put anything in the box (nothing) and gives me an address to send the goods to, we send the goods tracked by courier and on the same day buyer opens a case not delivered want my money back, we give him all the tracking details photos images of being delivered even the human holding the box. We ask him to confirm address numerous time and the contact phone number is incorrect he never replies and amazon seem happy that he never confirms. amazon gave him his money back yesterday he contacted our home phone number and laughs at us. and then yesterday he repeatedly through out the day rings and then hangs up. i have in the mean time wrote a letter to the customer as this has know happened to me 4 times on a different sites already this month same product different addresses always a gift and to the value of £700 so far. Today the customer the receiver contacts us and confirms she received the gift but she never purchased it from amazon she purchased it from another platform for double the price and the other customers who have all received the basket and apparently said it had not have all purchased from this same person. THEY HAVE ALL PURCHASED FROM THE SAME SELLER but the trouble is amazon wont help so how can we get this sorted we have logged with police yesterday and all the customers want to help and the customer wants to phone amazon but amazon don't want to help.
any suggestions and please be kind. in the mean time we are trying to get the buyer removed from the site he is selling the product on i just want him to stop saying it was not delivered when we have all proof and customer confirmation it was. any advice thank you

@Seller_LzTzNiR3N0Hgj You have a drop shipper.
When you say 'he gives me an address' was this the address on the order? Or was the address supplied via a message?
Seller_ZQyopdiwkUHOZ
Surely the people who received goods that were drop shipped from you will all now be claiming their money back from the seller?
I'd say they shot themselves in the foot by making this so obvious. I would also hope that since the buyers have been informed by you and been able to get their money back from the drop shipper, that they'd also agree to pay you for the orders that they received.

Is the drop shipper using the same buyer ID on each order? We used to have drop shippers buy certain items from us. We never had issues but once I worked out they were drop shippers I sent them a friendly message letting them know, informing them they do not have my permission to drop ship but as long as they cause us no issues then I am happy to let it go.
Some quickly disappeared and some continued to purchase. I'm not sure this would work with yours as they seem quite brazen about it.

The biggest problem here is that Amazon, Etsy and the Police won't be particularly bothered.
Maybe try and flag it with the Small Business Commissioner.
There's a route to take the buyer to the dmall claims court but by the sounds of it that won't particularly bother them and isn't likely to get you any money back and cost more.

In my experience Etsy support is worse than Amazon's. They aren't too fussy about handmade these days. When last I looked at Etsy it was filled with Chinese tat.

Hi Polly123,
As thirtythreeandathird says the buyer is a Drop Shipper and they are not following Amazon's rules for Drop-Shipping :
"Drop shipping Policy
Drop shipping, or allowing a third-party to fulfil orders to customers on your behalf, is not acceptable unless it is clear to the customer that you are the seller of record. The following examples of drop shipping are policy violations that may result in a restriction of your ability to sell using Amazon’s Merchant Fulfilled Network (MFN):
Purchasing products from a third party, including Amazon or another seller in Amazon’s stores, and having that third party ship directly to customers if the shipment does not identify you as the seller of record or if anyone other than you (including the third party) appears on packing slips, invoices or external packaging is strictly prohibited without exception; or
Shipping orders with packing slips, invoices, external packaging or other information indicating a seller name or contact information other than your own is also strictly prohibited."
You should be able to report this buyer to Amazon for Drop Shipping Abuse
Hope that helps,
Brian

Have you tried contacting the M.D. of Amazon ? If you got nowhere with the normal Amazon channels that is your last resort ( with Amazon anyway )

This is a drop-shipper contact the md and then the police for fraud

Message MD of Amazon.
Buy from him and then put in claims and bad feedback.
Is he in the UK I wonder, as I know many abroad, so police do not do much.
Appeal all, with screenshot of delivery, etc. How did you send, photo, GPS and Signed For?
Also, be careful, as you must not phone Buyers, but if they contacted you, obtain a statement from each, include in the Appeal to show delivered with their details. How you are supposed to get that though as they must look up your email, is problematic. You are not supposed to give your email address as they shuld email via Amazon, but that is the fraudster!
