Not getting approved for selling grocery
We have been trying to get approved to sell grocery but we are getting denied for this reasoning:
-- We cannot accept this INVOICE because we are unable to verify the transaction with the supplier. Documents must be authentic and unaltered in order to be verified.
The invoice we are submitting is our official invoice that meets all requirements. Can anyone help on this?

Good Evening @Seller_qKjEgOrwnKhOi,
I wanted to follow up with you regarding your concerns about your selling application. Generally, I have seen sellers submit one brand selling application and then get feedback from the review team if more information is required.
Once rejected the team requests new or additional documentation on that same application. I did want to share the link for Amazon's Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements. Listed below are the requirements for sourcing documentation request:
Copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured
These documents:
- Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
- Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain
- Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. We may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents
Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.
You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible to enable adequate review of the documents you provide. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASIN(s) under review.
A letter of authorization can also be a valuable addition to your appeal in these situations If you’re sourcing directly from the brand or their manufacturer.
I also wanted to share our Seller University resource that addresses Invoice requirements for when you apply to sell.
Lastly, when submitting any documents to Amazon, they should meet the following criteria:
- Be high resolution and unobstructed (clear, readable, visible and in focus).
- Be complete and not cut off from any sides (not angled or cropped).
- Be a scanned image or photo of the original document taken from your mobile device's camera.
- Display the full document (front and back, if applicable).
- Be less than 50MB in size.
- Be in one of these formats: TIF, TIFF, PNG, JPG, PDF, and JPEG. Do not include special characters in the file name (examples: $, &, or #).
- Be authentic and unaltered.
- Must not be password-protected.
Please carefully review all the feedback the team I shared with you regarding your selling application in order to continue moving forward in the application process. Let us know if you have any questions about any of the information provided above.
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
