FBA Capacity is a new profit centre for Amazon
This month our capacity was cut by 75% to the amount of stock we held. Our business is growing on Amazon but we were told that the cut is due to recent sales volumes. We can get a higher capacity by paying for additional capacity. In many countries this is extortion but in USA this is Amazon policy as I understand it. We have the FBA team telling us we need to add more stock as it is selling fast and yet we no longer have capacity to send in new stock. Left hand and right hand not working together as usual. We will now begin to build out our growth on other platforms. Amazon is shooting itself in the foot by pushing Sellers elsewhere. Utter disbelief in lack of morals and business acumen.

This appears to be a cash grab on Amazon's part, much like the low inventory fees introduced many months back. It makes zero sense for them to limit us so greatly and seems quite short-sighted. They set our limit to right where we're at with an FBA inventory performance score of 577. We are selling multi-millions per year on Amazon and our latest loan offer is $875,000. How the heck could we even entertain taking any kind of loan if we can't send inventory in? How do we grow if we can't get inventory in? How do we make sure to have enough stock of our fastest sellers? Make it make sense Amazon! Admins, please take these concerns to whomever needs to hear them.
