Two Step Verification is driving me nuts!
Look, I am all for having a secure account but having to go through this every single time I sign in to my account on my desktop PC is insane! It only asks for it on my phone periodicly, but starting a few weeks ago I have to deal with it each and every time I sign into my account via my desktop which could be a dozen times a day depending on what I have going on.. Anyone have have a fix for this?

It is very annoying. I have it pop up multiple times a day asking for the code even when I'm already signed in and have been active. They seem to be going overboard.

Yep. I have cleared my cache, cleared and re-allowed cookies. Like my IT guy has gone over everything and it still happens constantly. His best guess is that its on the Amazon side.

Same here. We use the google authenticator app and it gives me a code automatically so I don't have to get a text or email.
Plus this way we are able to get in even if the codes can't be delivered by text or email.

Amazon is tired of sellers getting their accounts hacked. We are going to just have to deal with it.

it gave me the option to turn off the 2 step Verification but when i turned it off they i cant use my account so i had to turn it back on

Yep, and it won't keep me signed in anymore so I have to do it 15-20 times per day.

I never get asked for a 2 step verification process unless its been a long time since I logged in, or on a new device.
I heard about it was going to start happening, but it never happened for me. Just letting you know its not everyone for some reason. I am selling on here for 10 years. Not sure if that info helps.

Tell me about it. My wife got our phone, sometimes she is away, taking the phone, then boom, Amazon is asking me the 2 step thing, and I can't log in to do my job. It's not even just Amazon, it's PayPal too. I can't buy shipping for other orders. The best is Google. I lost 4 emails so far, because of the 2 step verification thing. I have the right password, I have the phone number too, but nope, won't let me log it anyway. And what can I so? Google don't even have a hotline. Since I installed a new Windows, I can barely run my business. All because of this 2 step nonsense. It's ridiculous. :-(
