Read a newspaper recently? The Wall Street Journal is a good place to get a sense of what's going on.

Same here, not sure what's going on. Maybe annual compliance audits

It's the recession... people are afraid to spend money and it's only going to get worse. More bad news today as far as GDP and a jobs report comes out Friday which will be even more consequential.

Although I'm not happy it's been a slowest in years, it's also been a great opportunity for sourcing. It seems many of my "Competition" is not around which has my sources making me great deals. I've been doing this since the beginning and it's cyclical so now is your opportunity to get ready for the next upcycle source cheaply, store efficiently, and buy smartly....

These are some questions that can potentially help to understand:
- How many skus do you have?
- what are your metrics?
- Are you selling branded and exclusive or me-too?
if Branded and Exclusive:
- How is your PPC budget?
- Has your ranking slid?
If me-too:
- How many items are you listing daily?
- what categories?
There ARE reasons that Amazon's algo promotes some sellers and suppresses others. Some I have made loose connections over the last 18+ years selling here and some are still a mystery.
But if you answer these questions above I can give you more specific of a reply to your specific case.
I will reiterate what I have said over and over, me-too business on Amazon is dying. Amazon has made a clear decision to support brands that pay for PPC, not sellers that are 1 of many selling the same product of which no seller is spending any PPC.
