Brand name was changed on our old listings (hijacked)
Seller of the Brand: "KAVAVE" hijacked our listing by merging it into one of their products.
We created the listing in 2019 and we own the UPC which is tied to the ASIN.
We successfully un-merged our listing from KAVAVE's but their brand name is still tied to our ASIN.
We now have a registered trademark which we would like to change the listing brand name to register the ASIN into brand registery and avoid this from happening again, but we are not sure how to remove the bad actors brand from the listing.
Please advise.
Our ASIN is :B07K76LZK2

Hello.
Can a moderator or someone with Amazon please reply?

The brand name of a listing (= title) can NOT be changed, because, how you say yourself:
The UPC is forever tied to THAT ASIN. This UPC is tied to a product with ANOTHER (your former) brand name and therefore the title cannot be changed.

This issue is becoming a real problem for me as well. Listings I created ten years ago suddenly have a weird brand name. Seller support says brands can't be changed - Well then how was it allowed to be changed in the first place???
Is it not possible for support to look at the history of the ASIN, the title, images, description, and hundreds of reviews to see that the brand was recently changed and is now completely wrong?

Vendor central accounts allow for brand changes. Also when whole companies are acquired, or IP is bought, they allow changes.

I have been dealing with listings hijackings (Amazon employee bribes and inside scheme at Amazon China) for ever. I FOUND the final solution and works:
- place a test order
- when order is delivered, file return
- reason: " INNACURATE WEBSITE DESCRIPTION "
- " PACKAGE WAS OPENED , PRODUCT NOT USED "
- " Tell us more about why are you returning." write "counterfeit" , do not write anything else
- proceed to return;
- bots will pick up word "counterfeit" and will remove the product from Amazon within days
Do this to every listing they hijacked, ask many people you know to do the same if only one order does not work. This is following Amazon policy as the product is not original and as a buyer you are entitled to do so. They WILL remove the SKU and the ASIN will be back to its original state.

Greetings @Seller_jnMW8NLOsA3OZ,
Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. Have you reached out to Seller Support to request that the ASIN be split back up from being merged? If you have can you please provide your most recent Case ID so I can review? As mentioned, the product's brand should generally not be able to be changed, however Seller Support may be able to request it be reverted to the original brand name. Thank you for your understanding.

Greetings @Seller_jnMW8NLOsA3OZ,
Thanks for reaching out with your details. At this time the product cannot be changed to the product Brand you are requesting as it is not the Brand originally used to list this product. I would recommend that you reach out to Amazon Seller Support again to request it be reverted to the original brand name. If you plan to list this product with a new trademark you will need to create a new ASIN with a new UPC. Thank you for your understanding.

The same thing happened to us the bran is susurrus and now we received a brand registry revocation without any notification and 78 of 97 listings are in suppressed search status. I have been trying to resolve this with seller sentral support for 7 days but they don't even speak English well, and brand registry only responds to me with pre-written messages.
