Negative Vine Feedback Due to Pricing – Violation of Guidelines
Hello Amazon,
Can you please help me with the removal of negative feedback from a Vine customer? I received a 3-star review just because the user thought the price was expensive. She made a price comparison, stating that she could find a cheaper alternative, which is a direct violation of Amazon's Community Guidelines.
Quote from Community Guidelines:
"Pricing comments related to an individual experience aren't allowed. For example: 'Found this item here for $5 less than at my local store.'"
Quote from the Vine customer:
"Kinda pricey at a price point of $12 (I can buy a bottle of 180 capsules for about the same price)."
Overall, she liked the product a lot but was not happy with the price. I have opened cases, but no helpful answer was given—only a suggestion to send an email, which I did, but without any result.

No answer will be forthcoming from Amazon. You bought into the program at your own accord and have to accept what the precipitant says as helpful.
That will not be removed because you gave the free product to the person who feels your product costs too much and is not worth the purchase price. That is why you gave the product away, for a personal opinion to help you out. Are you going to take the advice and lower your price.
Now with that said, many sellers find the same experience as you. The program is not that beneficial because you are giving the product to a person who would have never bought it from you had it not been for free. The review will mean nothing if you can't get a potential buyer to your product and open your listing.
Therefore, an effective short to the point 2–5-word title is far more important that any review. Can you enter the Amazon browser as a buyer, type in three-5 words and your product instantly come up at the top of the page? Let's hope so.
