"Urgent: Persistent 'Account Does Not Qualify' Issue Impacting Listings on Amazon UK"

Dear Amazon Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding a critical technical issue affecting my Seller Account. For the past three weeks, I have been encountering the "Account Does Not Qualify" error across a significant portion of my listings, preventing me from listing new products or approving existing ones.

Details of the Issue:

The error occurs when I attempt to list or approve products. It blocks me before reaching the document upload stage, displaying the "You're Not Qualified" message.

This issue affects both new listings and previously approved products that were actively selling without any issues.

Despite my strong Account Health Rating (AHR) of 264 and exemplary metrics, this error persists.

Specific Observations:

I can successfully list globally recognized brands like L'Oréal Paris, Neutrogena, LEGO, and Funko.

However, for other brands, the system does not even allow me to upload documents for approval.

This inconsistency strongly indicates a technical issue rather than a compliance-related restriction.

Impact on My Business:

This error is affecting over 50% of my potential listings, disrupting my operations during a critical sales period.

The inability to list or restock products is resulting in significant revenue loss and customer dissatisfaction.

Additional Concerns:

Despite everything being in order with my account, support teams consistently tell me that "your account is not allowed to list these products." Meanwhile, newer sellers do not seem to experience this issue. Why are long-term, policy-abiding sellers being subjected to this problem while newer sellers operate without restrictions?

It is especially disheartening that during Q4, a critical time for businesses, valuable sellers are being held back by such issues instead of addressing counterfeiters and poor-performing sellers. Penalizing honest sellers like us is neither fair nor just.

Request:

I kindly ask for this issue to be escalated to the appropriate technical team for further investigation.

All relevant information, including my case ID (10500638272), has already been provided.

I will continue to pursue a resolution for this issue, and I remain hopeful that one day a competent representative who truly understands the problem will address my concerns.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Best regards,

A Concerned Amazon UK Seller

Dear Amazon Forum Moderators,

I am writing with a deep sense of frustration and despair regarding the escalation of an issue that has now completely crippled my Amazon business. Despite my continuous efforts to resolve the "Account Does Not Qualify" error and previous concerns I raised, the situation has reached an unbearable level.

Current Crisis:

As of this morning, 85 of my active listings, many with existing stock, were suddenly flagged as "inactive" with the message "Approval Required." Despite this, attempts to proceed with approval have been blocked with the explanation that "listing limits are in place."

This means I currently have hundreds of units sitting in Amazon warehouses that I am entirely unable to sell. These products were actively selling until now, but I have been rendered powerless overnight.

The Impact on My Business:

This situation has devastated my operations. My inventory, purchased and prepared specifically for the Q4 sales period, is effectively locked away, accumulating costs without generating revenue.

Over five years of dedicated work as an Amazon seller with a spotless Account Health Rating has been undone in a matter of days. I have attached a screenshot of my account health, showing that there is not a single policy violation or metric issue. I challenge anyone to find another five-year seller with such strong account health being treated in this way.

Key Observations:

Why is this only happening to honest, experienced sellers? I have worked tirelessly to maintain compliance with every Amazon policy, yet I face barriers that newer sellers with less history seem to avoid entirely.

What have I done to deserve this treatment? I have invested years into building a strong, compliant business on Amazon. My reward has been unnecessary restrictions that are pushing me closer to financial ruin.

A Call for Action:

I demand an immediate and thorough investigation into why my listings were suspended and why I am being restricted from even attempting to resolve this issue through the approval process. The lack of clarity and fairness in how this has been handled is unacceptable.

I have exhausted all other channels and will pursue legal action if necessary to protect my business and livelihood. This situation has gone far beyond a simple technical error—it is costing me irreparable financial and emotional damage.

I urge Amazon to address this issue promptly and fairly. If a five-year seller with a perfect account health rating can be subjected to this treatment, what hope do other sellers have? I need answers and a resolution now.

Sincerely,

A Loyal but Devastated Amazon Seller

Hi @SK_Shoppers,

The team informed me that the gating system is working as intended. There are some restrictions on selling certain products based on various factors.

Are you authorized by the brand owners to sell their products? Here's a helpful page that should clear things up: Selling Applications FAQs

And this video gives you an overview of products that require approval: Products Requiring Approval

If you still need help, reach out to the Account Health Support team. They'll guide you through the appeal process and help you resubmit according to the notification you received or through the Account Health Dashboard.

Thank you, Ezra
