Funds Witheld - No specific reason given
Amazon have witheld my funds of £3800 (British Pounds) and say they will not be dispursed to me. The email I get back from the dispursement or seller performace team is the same no matter what question I ask. It seems that maybe a bot is responding. The reason given is "your Amazon seller account has been used to engage in deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity that harms our customers, other selling partners, and our store." it goes on to say "The funds in your account will not be disbursed to you. This is a final decision made after reviewing the information you provided."
I sell windows install disks and usb's. The software is freeley downloadable from Microsoft to end users. I state that I do not charge for the software, but charge for the service, the hardware and the postage. If I have broken any copyright or infridgment policies is certainly is or was not intended or fraudulant. I have has 2218 customer orders with no negative feedback relating to copyright or fraud. Has anybody managed to reverse a "final decision" and got their well earned funds back ? How did you do it ? I have tried to find out EXACTLY why my funds have been seized but I receive the same massage back everytime. My stance is that if i have inadvertently broken such rules I can understand account de-activation but not keeping my funds. Comments appreciated.

It does seem that a business model that essentially states up front you're buying a USB / disk (plus paying a service charge) that happens to come with free Microsoft software is knowingly doing something with risk.
Amazon's policy linked above does seem to firmly exclude that from their site. You could try mediation (search in help) to see if they will reverse their decision.
