Jan 1st was a Non Banking day om 1st September in UK
Some are reporting delays to money arriving
Although my own 26 December payment finally turned up
this morning (2nd January) Amazon use the Old BACS BATCH
FILE system not newer Faster Payments like EBAY. The UK is
suffering dreadful commerce downturn due the bad government
budget on 31st October. (National Insurance rise/Business Rates rise
and various associated other measures than impact consumer spend
on any non essential spending. the so called "Retail therapy"
