Ongoing Charges and Unfulfilled Removal Orders
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out for advice regarding an issue with my Amazon FBA inventory. I stopped all selling activities on Amazon about 4 months ago and have been trying to remove all of my remaining inventory ever since. Some units were successfully removed, but a portion of the inventory is still stuck in Amazon’s warehouses, and I’m continuing to get charged storage fees each month.
I’ve placed several removal orders, but they haven’t fully cleared out my inventory. It’s frustrating since I thought repeated removal requests would eventually get everything out, but I’m still left with stranded units and accruing fees.
Has anyone experienced something similar, or does anyone know how I can get this resolved? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @Seller_pa6LCxAR2YIKD,
Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums! Just checking in here, has there been any updates on your removal orders since posting?
Please note that Amazon may cancel a removal order if the inventory isn't available for removal, for example, when it’s part of a pending customer order. For more information on this process, I'd recommend reading through the following help pages:
If you're continuing to run into this issue, I'd encourage you to open a case with Seller Support so that team can take a further look into your inventory. Once you open that case, please send me the case ID and I'd be happy to monitor the correspondence and provide additional assistance if needed.
Thanks again,
Jameson

@naya_style, I'm experiencing a similar issue. I'm planning to close my store since July 2024 and made a removal order at the end of Aug 2024. It has been more than 90 days and still awaiting the inventories to be cleared out. But the storage charges are being calculated and deducted. Even I'm not sure how to tackle this situation.
