Tried for a week now to get help with Tax ID issue, INFORM act...
I recently updated my account with a new LLC that I formed. I had to retake the Tax Interview and go through all of the INFORMS act verifications.
I was able to get everything verified EXCEPT the Tax Information section and the Tax Verification section, which just says "Reverify".
I have spoken to countless people at Amazon, seller support, account health, etc.
I was told that there is a system error and that I have provided all of the documents needed, and that the internal team will clear/override the outstanding INFORM act items listed in the system.
Unfortunately, there is no open case that I can see and every time I call, I am just told to submit the Tax ID document again, send screenshots of the system, and wait another 5 business days for the internal team to review.
Is there someone from corporate that I can contact regarding this? I have spent countless hours on this issue and I just keep going in circles with Amazon support. There must be someone in charge that I can call / email or otherwise contact.

The "Legal Entity" can ONLY be updated if you created with your private name and you updated to your Single Member LLC and if both are established in the same country. Any other update of the "Legal Entity" is rejected. Technically of course you CAN update, but the system will at each reverification dig out the first initially put in "Legal Entity" and verify on that basis. Therefore the questions:
Did you create your account as Individual or as Business? Go look at the screenshots you hopefully created at this time.
And the "updated LLC" is this a Single Member LLC or a Multi Member LLC?
Are your initial "Legal Entity" and your new LLC established in the same country?

THAT is the "initial" Legal Entity:
The change you did was not allowed and you will actually not be able to activate that account with this new "Legal Entity". You see it now since you can NOT change your tax information. All data is based on the tax information.
Recently a mod said that EVENTUALLY in some months the Legal Entity change would be possible under certain circumstances. So, you can wait some months OR revert your account data to what they were. OR sell out anything, wait 90 days, properly close that account and create a new one with your new credentials and another email address.
