New FBA Seller, with questions about timeline for shipping process.

Hi all,

So Im new to FBA, Im starting with used books and just sent in my first batch of shipments, I sent in 8 boxes with about 35 units in each, they were sent via UPS, 5/8 were sent to ABQ2, they were marked as delivered a week ago, but have not progressed to recieving, I understand delays happen, so its not like Im freaking out over this, Im just wondering if anyone has insight as to how long delays like this often last. Additionally, in the future is there a way to ship to a different west coast warehouse? My shipments that went elsewhere have all been checked in by now, I use Scanlister to prepare shipments if that would help with the answer!

Thanks for any insights.

It is normal for a shipment to get checked in within a few days, but a week or even a bit more is not unusual; especially this time of year as sellers are loading up for the holiday season. I usually don't start getting worried until about 10 days.

As for selecting a different warehouse, I know of no way of controlling that.

Thanks for raising this here on the forums, I can understand the frustration this has caused.

I wanted to check in, have you seen movement on this shipment? If no, would you kindly provide me with:

- Shipment ID

- Seller Support case number (if any)

- Was the shipment partner carrier or non-partner carrier?

Thanks in advance!

- Bryce
