Amazon declined my application to create new ASIN under my own brand
Hi everyone,
I’m the owner of a brand called “Happy Twigs” and currently have a few ASINs live on the UAE marketplace. I haven’t completed Brand Registry yet and don’t have a brand store, but I’ve already applied for a trademark.
Recently, I tried listing a new ASIN under the same brand, but it got rejected. I reached out to Amazon and explained that I own the brand, and even provided supporting documents like my trademark application and LLC license—but this was the response I received.
Has anyone faced something similar? I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions on the best way to move forward so I can list my products successfully.

Hello! I had same issues. When every document will ready they will allow you to create your ASIN. But don’t forget make your own barcode through GC1, without it Amazon not allowed make your brand ASIN. Now I try apply my barcode, it is terrible they need all documents to prove it and I already wait third day and they still didn’t accept. So prepare for long process. Best regards!

It appears that your issue is that your Barcode is not registered to your name in the GS1 Barcode system. Upon a quick online check, the barcode you mentioned is registered to GRAND VIEW WINERY in the USA.
For authentic branded items, all barcodes must be correctly generated and registered through gs1.org so that they can be verified.

To resolve this, complete Amazon Brand Registry using your trademark application. This grants you full control over listings under “Happy Twigs.” Until then, list the product using a generic name or request GTIN exemption. Reapply with matching brand details to avoid the 5461 error.

I am same on the list, I had a case through which my brand registry was approved, later without telling me any reason I saw my brand registered is deleted and I have lost to my brand store.
Later I tried to register again and i have got to know that my account is not eligible for brand registry and then the error start coming that an application for the same brand is already in process.
I am the sole Trademark Owner of my brand. Every time when I contact support I get a message that you are not the brand owner please contact the brand owner to add you in the brand registry. my Email is never changed no account changes nothing has been done.
right now I do have a store front but I can not manage and I do not know how this can be sorted out. At least Amazon someone real person should approach me and explain the solution.
