Credit card declined – payment will be available by Tuesday

Hello everyone,

I recently received an email from Amazon stating that my credit card was declined when trying to collect the due payment. I’ve already transferred funds to the account, but the money will be available on Tuesday due to banking delays.

I would like to know:

• Will Amazon suspend my account before Tuesday?

• Is there any way to let Amazon know that I am actively resolving this and just need a bit more time?

Any advice or experience regarding this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

How quickly an account is suspended after a declined payment can vary depending on sellers' unique situation (account history, number of reminders sent, etc.), so I cannot advise on an exact window for suspension. It is worth noting that payment activities on your account (payments to you), will typically be held until credit card issues are resolved.

I've taken a look at your account and support case, and can confirm you've taken all the right steps to correct this issue. Typically, opening a seller support case is the first step you should take to inform us of an issue, and I can see the support agent has confirmed that your account/credit card is in good standing.
