Established in the UK for Value Added Tax(VAT)
Amazon is trying to determine if our UK based subsidiary company is established in the UK for Value Added Tax (VAT) purposes. We do not have physical employees in the UK which is what it is being asked. We are VAT registered and compliant and we pay our VAT on sales made directly to the HMRC. Is there any solutions or must i select the option where we are not a legal UK entity based in the UK?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

sounds like you only have a virtual address which Amazon doesn’t like. If you tick the non legal UK Vat box then Amazon will charge you Vat back dated to 2021- you will have to pay this and try to reclaim from HMRC or somehow prove you have already paid this to HNRC
