Account Info and Liquidation
Hello,
New to forum. I have two questions that if I can get clarification I would really appreciate it:
1. I am on a professional selling account and have dedicded to shut down my business and placed all of my inventory in liquidation. With saying that, do I need to have a professional selling account, can I downsize to Individual selling account while my products are being liquidated?
2. Why does my products show up in "available" on my account when I placed them in liquidation? I am trying to close my account but when they are available its possible that they sell which extends the time I need to close, should or can I set my account to close? will my products still sell under liquidation?
just need clarification.
Thanks,
Kommsource

Hi @Seller_fvtLuDNCfKoho,
Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums! I'm just coming across this thread and wanted to chime in with some answers for you.
1. Downgrading to an individual selling account should not affect the liquidation process. You can read more about switching to the individual selling plan right here.
2. After submitting a liquidation order, there is a short window of time between submitting a liquidation order and when the inventory is moved to reserved status. During this period of time, customer orders can be fulfilled with your inventory. If your inventory is used to fulfill a customer order while liquidation is pending, you will receive the proceeds of sale rather than a liquidation payment.
For more information and FAQs on the FBA liquidation process, I'd recommend reading through this help page.
I hope this helps clarify! If you have any additional questions, please let me know.
All the best,
Jameson
