My account got deactivated after I upgraded to Amazon uk professional!
I upgraded my account to Amazon professional and my account instantly got deactivated. As I now need to provide additional ID, which I have ready. I have contacted Amazon seller support and each time i get the response “to get more help contact seller support” every time I contact seller support I get the message “case has been closed due to Amazon deactivated my account” it’s a constant circle. All I want to do is verify who I am and continue selling as I was previously.
I need a link to a video call for Amazon uk. But can’t seem to find a link anywhere.
It’s as if I have payed £25 for Amazon to deactivate my account. This is losing me sales.
Can somone please help.

Upgrading to the professional selling plan would not have caused your account deactivation. There must be another reason.
Professional is not the same as a Business Seller Account - is that maybe what you need to do ? - if you had an Individual Seller Account (the legal entity).
Amazon, for whatever reason, has named a seller account type AND a selling plan the same - Individual, but they are totally different things.
If you are buying items to sell on for profit you need a BUSINESS seller account, and be registered with HMRC as self-employed.
Have they maybe just picked up on the fact that you had an Individual seller account rather than business ?
Individual ACCOUNT is ONLY for selling off ones own personal second-hand items, eg. books, DVDs, CDs etc and not NEW items.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Amazon where the rules change on a daily basis. Probably you done nothing wrong - there probably deemed you have and it is impossible to rectify a problem that is not there to start with...........hope it helps lol
