Why is it taking two months for my shipment to arrive at the warehouse?
I sent in my first shipment to amazon FBA on January 7th, and I was wondering why it hasn't arrived yet and this is the message I received
"Our records indicate that the carrier received your shipment. We expect your shipment to arrive at our Amazon fulfillment center by 03/24/2025."
Do I really have to wait two months for my items to arrive?

Yeah. It sucks. That is how long I wait for and I have to replenish more inventory to account for long wait times.
My rule is send a 2 month supply to Amazon whenever it falls under a 2 month supply.

Don't you have to ask this your freight forwarder, or what I am not understanding here?

Hello @Seller_a3V0a3MmI6LZo
Christine here from Amazon Forums.
I understand the extended delivery timeline is frustrating. The delay is likely due to a post-holiday backlog and capacity issues at fulfillment centers. January tends to be busy for processing.
What You Can Do:
Check tracking to see if there are any delays with the carrier.
Keep an eye on your Seller Central dashboard, as shipments often arrive sooner than expected.
For future shipments, consider using Amazon Partnered Carriers, sending inventory early, and splitting shipments between multiple fulfillment centers.
The timeline is a "worst-case" estimate, so things may arrive earlier.
Please know a reconciliation of shipped inventory usually takes 2 to 30 days. In some cases, it will take up to 60 days.
