How to go about selling "2 count or 4 count" of the same product?
Hi, I would like to start introducing variations to my products to increase the average order value for my store.
For example, if I have ASIN: B0CYDD5WS3, which is 1kg of Macadamia Nuts, and I would like to add the variations of 2 count, 4 count, 6 count so the price per item gets cheaper as they buy more, but the order value goes up... How do I go about doing this.
In this case, the packaging would still be in bags of 1kg as the item is currently listed, but I'm hoping that for the 2 counts and the rest, amazon just takes 2 units or 4 units or whatever it may be, and just fulfills them in the same way, just with extra units of the same 1kg bag. Is it correct to assume that's how it would be fulfilled?
How do I go about intructing amazon to pick 2 of the same item, if its in the 1kg bags?

You could create different ASIN with 2, 4, 6 packs, etc. but this will require more work since you would have to bundle them and send them to Amazon.
I think a tier promotion might work better since you would not need to create different ASIN but simply offer a discount based on quantity.
Good luck.

Although making packs is often a good way to increase profitability because the shipping cost will represent a lesser proportion per unit, you have to consider that making packs is time consuming and can lead to FBA errors.
As A1_SPORTS mentioned, you can create new ASINS and link the variations together using a parent ASIN.
If you decide to bundle products, you need to cover the UPC on every product. Label the whole pack (bundle) with a unique FNSKU after creating the ASIN. This way, FBA will treat your product as ''One'' instead of spliting your products by using the UPC.
Consider that FBA will make errors by spliting packs regardless of your work and some customers will be upset.
