Adding a new size variation to an existing listing
There is an existing listing that has sizes of Medium and Large that I am already selling on.
I have taken delivery of a new size (XL) and now want to add this in.
How do I do this?
All other details will be the same - just SKU, Size and EAN will be different.
I tried going to one of the other sizes in my Inventory and selecting ‘Copy Listing’ but I end up with a completely blank listing (nothing has been copied at all) - its asking me for Title, Colour, Browse Node, Material, Images etc. all over again.
Surely, I should be able to select ‘Copy Listing’ then just change my SKU, Size and EAN and be able to Save?

OK. I have followed these instructions but I still have problems. I was adding a XL size.
- After I uploaded the file, Amazon said there were errors (the file checker gave no errors). The error report was saying that ‘Brand’ was different for the ‘Large’ size between what Amazon had and what was in the file. I hadn’t amended the line with the ‘Large’ size so anything in it was what had been created by the wizard. However, as my new XL variation line had not generated an error I ignored it.
- In my Inventory I now have the XL variation - however it is ‘Suppressed’. Editing the variation and it is requesting an image. I have supplied an image but the variation is still ‘Suppressed’
- When I click on the XL variation in my Inventory I get taken to the Amazon listing page - but it is still only showing the Medium and Large sizes and not the new XL size. So customers still do not know there is now a XL size to buy. I presume it is because it is marked as ‘Suppressed’ but I do not know why it is so.
- I noticed that the wizard did not allow me to select which shipping template I wanted to use so it created the new variation using my default. Not a great problem as I gave now changed the default shipping template to the correct one, but why does the wizard not allow it to be set in the first place?

Can you just not use,From Manage Inventory> edit>variations>Add variations button
That how Ive done it previously.
