At best the notification of product listings are random, one prduct is affected and another similar is not. Worst of all is that the reason for the listing violation is not accurate. As an example recently we suddenly had a dozen policy violations with the reason bullet point removed. How "handmade by cottage industries" can be a violation I do not know and the Amazon policy does not explain it either. So we changed the text to the Amazon suggested text on the edit inventory page to "Classic look and feel"and it was still marked as a violation
By a process of trial and error we removed some other words individually , but from other fields of the product inventory management page until the listing was restored. The eventual "culprit" was the word "quality" not in the bullet poont section at all that hd been highlighted as the problem.
It seems there are a number of words Amazon blindly bans. The include the words fine, quality, guarantee, simple, to name a few. Amazon get some common sense, update the listing policy page, and provide us with a dictionary of words to avoid,
What an absolute thief of time.

I always thought references to postage methods and seller specific offerings like gift wrapping weren't allowed in the product details as well.

While I get you are the only one selling these goods - amazon functions as a catalogue system and the product listing should explain just that - the product so in theory others can list on the same listing. The two elements above are specific to you alone as a seller. That being said, the policy help page doesn't state that you can't state those details.
I had policy violations for having a titles that included the words "In Loving Memory" when I sell in loving memory products. Just ridiculous.
I completely agree—once you find yourself in Amazon's crosshairs, it tends to cause ongoing difficulties.
We had 7 out of our 9 products delisted due to safety and compliance issues, accompanied by extremely vague instructions from Amazon. It turned out that Trading Standards had requested the delistings, but we only learned this after 2-4 months, when they directly emailed us requesting information. Amazon had not informed us that Trading Standards required these details.
As a result, most of our products were unavailable from October 2024 (some from December 2024) until February 2025. Thankfully, we eventually resolved the issue and our products are now relisted.
TL;DR: Amazon should provide clearer information on what documentation and details they need regarding MYC compliance and, crucially, stop withholding information about who ultimately requires these documents.
