We have had a sudden drop in our On Time Delivery percentage - for a long time now it's been around 98 or 99%, but on 01/08/24, it suddenly dropped to 91%. When we investigated the reason for this, we have established that the report suddenly started including RM48 and RM24 untracked post which hadn't received a delivery scan. We checked some older reports and these WEREN'T included, only the untracked post that HAD received a scan and was late.
These postage types do get a delivery scan around 75% of the time, but RM say it's not mandatory for postmen to scan them, and they often don't. This DOESN'T mean the item wasn't delivered, or that it was delivered late, it just means it's not been scanned (and anecdotally we've not had an increase in customers saying items were late or undelivered, either!)
We are assuming this may be an error, or glitch, as there's been no communication to say the way this is calculated was going to change.
Has anyone else who uses untracked RM24 or 48 noticed this?
Mods, we've raised a support case (Case ID 10059570802), and would appreciate any help with this - @Winston_Amazon @Julia_Amzn @Jona_Amazon @Maja_Amazon @Spencer_Amazon @Ezra_Amazon
