Cannot sign up to Amazon FBA

Hi,

I have just verified my bank account information from my Amazon Seller Central area.

However, when I click to sign up to Amazon FBA I get this error message.

Hi there, We have detected that your Amazon seller account has been deactivated in accordance with section 3 of Amazon’s Business Solutions Agreement in the previous marketplace. We have taken this measure because we need additional documentation to verify your identity. An e-mail was sent to you earlier with clear instructions as to how you can reactivate your account. You will need to clear the process in the previous Marketplace and get your account reactivated before you can expand to a new one. If you don’t want to reactivate your account in the previous market place and still want to expand to the current market place, you can start the registration in the current marketplace using a different email address.

Can someone please explain : The above text in bold, does this mean I can Sign up for a 2nd amazon seller Account? Is this not in violation of the policy?

Please help.

Do not open a second account
Marketplace can mean uk site and global sites - not separate accounts

Account verification can take several weeks
Did you register as a sole trader or ltd company ?

Have you done the video verification ?

Have you added your card details and waited 48 hours ?

Have you opened a global account ?

Have you only fairly recently registered ?
All new accounts are de-activated whilst they check and verify all the business information you have given them, which can take quite a while, as there are so many new sellers jumping on board.
