Hi there @Seller_K8RhTCuRB5c03,
I hope this finds you well! Thank you for reaching out here in the Seller Forums.
I understand you have concerns about received intellectual property complaints.
As all sellers agree to follow local, state, and federal laws in addition to Amazon policies, any reports of possible infringement on a rights owner's intellectual property is taken seriously. Any time a rights owner has concerns regarding someone else selling their items or utilizing their trademarks, they are able to make a complaint directly to Amazon; Amazon then investigates and requests information in order to satisfy the question of compliance.
With the "counterfeit without a test buy" case, the rights owner may want to simply verify that your products are authentic. For this, you will want to submit responsible sourcing documentation to verify your supplier and the item itself.
Listed below are the requirements for sourcing documentation request:
- Copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured
These documents:
- Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
- Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain
- Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. We may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents
- Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.
- You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible to enable adequate review of the documents you provide. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASIN(s) under review.
Do you have invoices? Do they meet all of the above requirements?
Even when a document will meet all of these requirements, if your supplier is selling inauthentic items which you have purchased and offered for sale, then the review team may still need more information.
Do you have a letter of authorization or licensing agreement from any of the cited brands?
Alternatively, if you have proof another seller has filed these complaints in a malicious fashion, please provide as much information has possible via report abuse.
Please continue to utilize t his thread and ask relevant questions or provide updates, as the forums community and I are here to support you.
All the best,
Stevie
