FBA Label Service Question

Hello friends,

I usually have ASIN labels made by Amazon's FBA Label Service program so that the products I will send from my supplier go directly to FBA warehouses.

The products I ship usually have UPC barcodes on them. However, I noticed that a batch of products I was planning to ship had an ASIN label from an old listing that was glued to cover the UPC tags.

Will there be a problem if I send products to Amazon warehouses with an old ASIN label on them and ask Amazon to affix the new ASIN tags?

In the Amazon FBA Label Service description, there is an eligibility criterion as follows.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the FBA Label Service, products must meet the following requirements:

* Condition: Any (new, used, collectible, refurbished)  * Product type: Any (media and non-media)  * Not prohibited, restricted or high-value. * Have a single scannable barcode (UPC, EAN, JAN or ISBN)

NOTE: The UPC barcode mentioned in the last article is present on my products, but it is not visible because there is an old ASIN label on them.

Thanks..

If they've an old ASIN label over the top, Amazon wont be able to label them

I would think the items would need the correct UPC barcode showing.

You could try sending one or two to test out what would happen.

You might be better just printing Amazon FBA barcodes and sticking them on yourself, no need to pay Amazon the FBA Label Service then.
