UPS ground saver no longer available as an option... PLEASE HELP!

Exactly what the title says. 80% of what I ship is with UPS ground saver and they have disappeared as a shipping option all together. Not a single order has it as an option, so it is definitely an internal amazon issue.

Called seller support multiple times and every time they offer nothing, raise a ticket and wait. In the mean time i can't ship 80% of orders.

Yes i could use pirateship etc but then i have no protection and inevitably when a customer lies about not receiving a product Amazon won't do anything.

So i can't ship using Amazon because they've broken the shipping, I can't ship with a third party because i'll have no protection.

Anyone got any bright ideas as to what to do?

I checked that case and see that your issue is being investigated. I am monitoring that case, and I am also requesting information about any possible restrictions that would affect UPS Ground Saver availability for your orders/items.

In the meantime, your options are to select a different available shipping service, or to purchase that service outside of Buy Shipping. I will continue to monitor that case, and please post any updates that you receive.

Whenever I check "UPS GROUND SAVER" I see the following disclaimer:

"Note: The carrier selected does not offer the insurance selected in your preferences."

This is similar to using "Amazon Shipping Ground" service, which displays the following:

"Note: The carrier selected does not offer the confirmation method selected in your preferences."

As well as:

"Note: The carrier selected does not offer the insurance selected in your preferences."

So, MY question is this: WHY would a Seller ship using a method which DOES NOT provide Delivery Conformation or Package-Value Insurance against Loss or Damage In-Transit?

While it may appear cheaper, the liability it creates would cause me no end of concern and agitation. I think it is far preferable to spend a little more on Postage and sleep better at night knowing I am protected.

The shipping service is generally available, and I requested details on why it might be blocked for some shipments. If you have any additional examples, please let me know.

Have you tried updating the UPS SHIPPING SERVICES PRIORITY settings to "I want Amazon to choose the shipping service that I selected above that creates the longest delivery time based on the customers’ location (typically the cheapest)"?

Gear Icon in top right > Shipping Settings > I'll assume "Shipping Setting Automation (SSA)" is turned on > then click "EDIT INFORMATION" option for SSA > Pick warehouse details > next is "I want to automate my Self-fulfilled (non Prime) shipping settings." > next, under UPS options verify "UPS Ground Saver / SurePost" is selected as an option > next, under "Shipping Services Priority" I set it to "I want Amazon to choose the shipping service that I selected above that creates the longest delivery time based on the customers’ location (typically the cheapest) > after that it asks about "Premium Shipping Automation Preferences" which I do not offer so I have none of those selected > Save

This happens all the time. You can't count on it. One day I'll have more than 50% of my orders go UPS. The next day it will never show up at all. Yesterday (10/02/24 Wednesday) was the none at all day.

Our partner teams have been investigating seller reports of UPS Ground Saver being unavailable in some instances, including the cases you raised.

Please let me know if the issue is continuing for you, or if UPS Ground Saver is now available for you in Buy Shipping as expected.
