I am announcing that there will be no new sellers on Amazon UK

If Amazon can see this article, I hope they can pay attention to it

Recently, me and several of my friends have registered several new accounts, and our warehouses are all in Manchester. We sent the goods to the Amazon warehouse, using FBA

Almost all of our accounts are facing the problem of losing the buybox. According to the recent forum feedback, the old accounts randomly lose the shopping cart, and the brand new Amazon accounts, whether you use FBM or FBA.

You will hardly win the buybox. I don’t know whether Amazon knows how long this bug or system error has existed. All our accounts and brand new and zero perfomance notification (Green health)

I contacted selle support many times, and they only copied and pasted some clauses and cases to tell us the principle of the buybox and how to obtain qualifications.

This is ridiculous, as if their job is to tell us, hey you need to read these articles, instead of helping us investigate what is going on.

I am extremely disappointed. Member Day is coming soon. I don’t know if they will see this article. If possible, please pay attention to the situation that new accounts cannot get buybox.

UK Commitments on Featured Offer

Following the agreement reached recently with the Competition and Markets Authority, which covers the Amazon store in the UK, we will update the Featured Offer criteria in May 2024 for the UK store.

As we strive to show our customers the best Featured Offer on the product detail page, we'll continue to ensure that the criteria used to determine the Featured Offer are non-discriminatory and treat sellers and Amazon retail equally. Eligibility for Prime and the Prime badge won't be a criterion when determining the Featured Offer. Prime will continue to offer free and fast delivery which are factors that customers value and therefore are relevant in determining the Featured Offer.
