Account at risk for linked account
Hello,
I received communication that my account was at risk of deactivation because an account linked to mine was deactivated. The account that was deactivated is registered in Brazil, and I have 0 connection or knowledge of that account. Amazon wants me to reactivate that account, or prove that it is not my account. Obviously I cannot reactivate it, as it's not my account.
I do not know what steps to take to prove it is not my account, and I am very stressed to get this dealt with. Amazon will also not provide me with what information links our accounts, so I am completely in the dark.
If anyone has dealt with similar issues, please let me know how you solved them. This account is completely unrelated to me in any way, and the only information I can think of that would connect us is if they somehow obtained my credit/debit card information and fraudulently used it.
Thank you for reading

Hello @Seller_x0gLVFgcKQZfp,
Thank you for posting here on the Seller Forums.

From what you have shared, I see that your account is at-risk due to a multiple accounts policy violation and you have questions about how to address this.

What you mentioned above is correct. You will have the option to identify how the accounts are linked and submit proof that the accounts are no longer related OR work toward reinstating the related account. Since you don't own the other account, I would like to ask you some questions to help you identify how this could have occurred.
Have you helped anyone with their selling account in any capacity, or has anyone helped you with yours? If so how?
-Besides yourself, has anyone had access to your account (friends, family, employees, ex-employees)
-Have you hired a 3rd party service provider to assist with your account for any reason? If so, what were they hired to do?
-Have you noticed any unauthorized charges on your accounts or unauthorized logins to you selling account?

@Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9 makes a great point here. Do you recognize the name of the store that you are related to? If it is your store name, you will want to check all of the stores registered to you to make sure than none of them have become deactivated for any reason. If you find that one is deactivated, you will want to work to restore that marketplace in order to resolve the multiple accounts policy deactivation.
I look forward to learning more. Once you have reviewed the information and questions above, please feel free to respond here. The Forums community and I are here to support you.
Wishing you the best,
