Business Entity Update:
I originally registered my Amazon seller account with a Limited Company (LTD) based in Turkey.
I recently established a new Limited Liability Company (LLC) in the United States and would like to update my business information accordingly.
However, I understand that Amazon does not allow changing the country associated with an existing seller account. Could you confirm whether there is an alternative way to reflect my new LLC in my account?
GS1 Barcodes & Brand Registry:
My GS1 barcodes were purchased under my Turkish LTD. Can I continue using them, or would I need to repurchase new barcodes under my LLC?
My trademark is currently registered under my personal name, while my Amazon seller account is under my business entity. If I open a new seller account under my newly formed LLC, how can I transfer my existing brand to the new account? Would I need to reapply for Brand Registry under the LLC, or is there a process to link my existing trademark to the new account?"
Address Update & Multiple Account Concerns:
I was unaware of Amazon's policy regarding country changes, so I attempted to update my business address in the 'Business Address' section with my new LLC address. The change was successfully made, but after learning about the policy, I reverted the address back to my original Turkish LTD address.
If I open a new Amazon seller account for my LLC, would using the same address cause any issues with Amazon’s multiple account policies?
To comply with Amazon’s policies, do I need explicit approval before opening a second account for my LLC?
Inventory Sell-Off & Account Closure
Once I have sold all remaining inventory in my current seller account, can I immediately close the account? Are there any specific waiting periods or policies I should be aware of before requesting account closure?
I want to ensure that I follow Amazon’s policies correctly and avoid any unintended account suspensions. Please provide guidance on how I should proceed with these changes while remaining compliant with Amazon’s regulations.
