How to fulfill FBM Dropshipping Order
Hello,
I recently started FBM dropshipping here on Amazon, that is I sell products here on Amazon from other Amazon stores with their permission. I just got my first order and have been facing some difficulty trying to fulfil the order; when I click on confirm shipment, I am prompt to provide a the shipping carrier and a tracking ID. I don't know the carrier neither do I have the tracking ID yet because I thought I was supposed to fulfil the order first and link the customer shipping information to the original seller then once the seller ships the item, they will provide the shipment details. But it seems this is not possible hence I decided to "buy shipping" but after filling it the item weight and packaging dimension, I am prompt with an error message that reads "Based on your inputs or preferences, there are no shipping services currently eligible for your order. Check that your weight, dimensions, ship date, and carrier preferences are accurate. To see why shipping services were ineligible, please click on the link below."
After clicking on the link below, I see that I have all the shipping services unavailable with the reason stating "This shipping service does not deliver from the given source address to the destination address."
I need help to understand how to go about this. Any solution will be highly appreciated.

Stop immediately. Where did you hear that selling on Amazon is working like this? If you try to send this order Amazon will suspend your account.
Wait other to explain you better. You really have NO IDEA in what danger you put yourself - or your account to be precise.
FBM means "Fulfilled by Merchant". That means YOU have the product IN HAND before you send it to the customer.
Besides of this, how can you make money like this? You buy for 50 and sell for 50? To make some decent SMALL profit you have to sell for 80. And a customer will certainly not pay 80 if the finds the exact same thing for 50.

Dropshipping, as you have described it, is the if the absolute easiest way to permanently lose your selling privileges. The sheer number of daily "we were suspended for violation section 3 of Amazon's ToS" when the dropshipping ban began was phenomenal. You just source your own inventory, plain and simple.
