Is There a Way to Restore an ASIN if It Has Been Removed by Amazon from the Catalog (Notorious Dog Page Instead of the Product Page)?
Case ID: 14587428801, 14598296141
Dear Amazon,
Notwithstanding my repeated desperate efforts to avoid losing one of my best selling ASIN's, regardless of whatever I have been doing, this ASIN: B006OELHLW unfortunately was removed by Amazon from the Amazon Catalog. As a result there is a notorious Dog Page showing instead of the Product Page.
I am not going to put up with this situation because I feel that this product is allowed to be sold on Amazon, and in fact a number of other Amazon Sellers have been selling exactly the same product for 10 years or more. But now Amazon for some reason decided to kill this ASIN as well as many other best selling ASIN's.
I am desperately trying to convey my message to Amazon, quote:
SKU: Counterpain Warm Analgesic Balm 30g
ASIN: B006OELHLW
Dear Amazon,
I believe the product listed above is permitted for sale on Amazon.
I am including evidence demonstrating that my account has not violated Amazon restricted products policy.
Please investigate my concern.
First of all, I would like to emphasize that I am not the original creator of this ASIN. So, I may not be held responsible for any product attributes submitted by the original ASIN creator.
This ASIN has been sold on Amazon for many years, and many different sellers have been participating, even before I became an Amazon Seller.
I just added this old ASIN to my Inventory in 2023.
As a matter of fact, I was trying to change the Product Name and Product Description, as well as Bullet Points of this ASIN. Please see the attached file as a proof.
Please see Batch ID 50105019731
However, I noticed that my changes to the Product Detail Page are not propagating. My changes to the Product Name and Product Description, as well as Bullet Points, are not being reflected on the Product Detail Page.
I described this problem also in Case ID 14587428801
In my opinion, it is not fair to block my attempts to change the Product Name and Product Description, as well as Bullet Points of this ASIN.
Because I am the Official Registered Brand Owner of [*****] brand.
My name is ******, I am the Rights Owner of [*****] brand.
My brand [*****] has been enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry. I am the brand Administrator in Amazon Brand Registry.
I am very frustrated to find that I am not able to change the Product Name and Product Description, as well as Bulet Points of this ASIN. This is ridiculous, to say the least.
Please escalate this case to the relevant team (Amazon Catalog Team or Amazon Brand Registry Team).
Thank you for your help and cooperation.
Yours sincerely,
********

"Is There a Way to Restore an ASIN if It Has Been Removed by Amazon from the Catalog"
Short answer: NO. Why? Here is the reason:
Create a removal order. take a new UPC from GS1 and create a new listing avoiding that health claim. If the health claim is on your packaging, change the packaging.
This is the only way to save you products and your seller account.

They pull Asin's all the time,
NOTHING, can be done about it.
You will have to make a new listing.

Unfortunately Amazon is hit or miss on how they react to this situation. Have you created a case in brand registry?
Out of curiosity how are you just now seeing this if your the brand owner? Did you recently purchase it or just now decided to sell on Amazon directly?
Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw
WRONG. So very WRONG.
Those statements were there when you added to the listing. You are therefore representing your product as being "as advertised". If the listing is making false claims, then DON'T LIST THERE.
An argument could be made if your listing is altered, but adding to an existing page leaves you just as liable as the original creator.

Yes, there is a possible path for you to have the listing reinstated, but first you have to make sure every single possible health or medical claim has been removed from the page, whether it be in text or as part of a graphic.
It will be up to you to contact the correct team to achieve this. The best bet is by calling Support and try to get them to transfer you to the Catalog team, then work with them to remove any of the offending claims.
Only after the page is clean, should you revert to the Performance team to request reinstatement.

Basically, yes., Although you could create an offer (listing) and set the inventory to 0; that might still trigger a violation.
And yes, it's a pain that you can't fix a problem until you have a listing on there. I don't have issues like you or OP, as I sell books only, but sometimes run across something that really needs to be changed before I am willing to list on it. A couple of times, I've listed at a very high price (so it never shows), but generally just give up, as often I can't get them to fix it anyway (such as the book on WWII jets "published" in 1900)

One of my top selling products was removed by Amazon because one customer said it looked like she received a used product. The product was brand new but the box was scuffed up by UPS. I have contacted Amazon many times and they refuse to reinstate my ASIN. Amazon treats their sellers horribly
Seller_WkKIrXbOwmUCZ
They took down a listing and slapped me with a restricted products policy complaint. Even though it was 100% false. I can't do anything about it.

Hi @Seller_gngOKydAKa7Ey, while I am unable to provide more details on your appeal rejection, the other sellers on this thread have provided solid guidance for how to move forward from here. I'm sorry for the inconveniences this causes.
