Drive business-to-business growth with new Business Price action panel
To help you grow your business-to-business (B2B) sales, we've created an action panel that provides B2B pricing insights and recommendations.
The Business Price action panel, which is available for all professional sellers, analyzes customer demand signals to help you set business discounts for high-potential business customers on Amazon Business.
- Actionable pricing opportunities suggest recommended action to update and optimize your business discounts. We provide data to show how business discounts can improve sales and page views across similar products within the category to help quantify the expected uplift. For example, "Add a business discount to optimize traffic and conversion. Reason: Similar products with a business discount saw a 10% increase in sales and 8% increase in page views."
- Competitive pricing intelligence helps you compare your business price against key metrics, such as the Featured Offer price, lowest price, and Business Savings Blue Badge price on Amazon Business, so that you can make informed pricing decisions.
- Quantity discount recommendations help you create attractive bulk pricing offers. You'll receive these tailored suggestions, if available, once you set a business price.
You can use these insights to optimize your B2B pricing strategy and capture share of the growing B2B segment, directly from the business to consumer (B2C) workflow in Manage All Inventory.
To get started, go to the Business Price action panel.

What happened to the BOLD PRINT that was right above our B2B pricing on the multiple seller drop down that stated "NEW BUSINESS OFFER".
I have opened a case with amazon to get an answer, but nothing yet

Where's the the Business Price Action Panel? The links here and in the email I received just take me to my Manage Inventory page. Seller Support doesn't seem to be aware of a "panel" either. Am I missing something?

A quick and simple calculation proves that we will pay a much higher Amazon fee in any case.
It is very disappointing when your intelligence is mocked.

This is a thread I posted 8 months ago which is currently locked. I would "opt out" of business pricing but I am afraid I might loose the 1,500 listings that currently have this so it is just paused. I would like to get back in but need this fixed. Currently often times my "business price" is higher than my offer price which was not my intent.
I enrolled in Business Price and Quantity Discounts about 10 months ago (now 18). I also believe this is called B2B pricing. My intention was to offer business or buyer's of multiple items a 5% discount without having to undercut other sellers & induce a price war but increase my sales/customer satisfaction. I believe it has increased my sales & I would love to continue offering it however I currently have it paused due to 2 major issues that need to be addressed before I would consider resuming it.
1. MINIMUM PRICE--When I list an item it (before I paused it) automatically puts in a minimum price which I don't want because as we all know 5 minutes after I list an item another seller USSUALLY undercuts me by a penny. When I would reprice using the old inventory page I would just change the minimum price to $9. (I don't sell anything under $14.98) so I didn't get my listing deactivated due to a low price error. The new inventory page makes me open another window to change the minimum price. I recently spent the major part of 2 days figuring out how to fix that (open a 2nd page since the new inventory page will not let me save a new minimum price) & correcting about 200 listings so they became active again. This will be an ongoing problem until the affected 3,300 listings are either sold or deleted.
2. BUSINESS PRICE--Even though this is currently paused it is still giving businesses a discount of the existing business price even though I just raised the minimum I sell an item for by $1., so in some cases my business price is now more, sometimes way more than the standard price, in other cases the business price is way less than a 5 % discount. I have not yet had the time to correct any of these--I am sure I have several 100 & would have to figure out how to edit business price. I tried to attach a couple screen shots but they didn't attach for some reason. In 1 my standard price is $49.98 & my business price is $61.06, in another my standard price is $14.98 & my business price is $17.10--probably not going to get any business sales that way. I Just sold a book for $13.28 which was supposed to be the business discounted by only 5% from the standard price of $14.98 so they got a bigger discount than they should have.
I am sure many other sellers that are enrolled in Business Price and Quantity Discounts have inactive listing due to the low price errors you just don't know it because you don't get the standard message "Listings deactivated due to potential pricing error" or see notice of this on your account health page. The only way you can tell is there will be a red box around you price & your minimum price--these listings are not visible to buyers.
Solution--Let me get rid of Business Price and Quantity Discounts completely so I would stop offering it at all (it won't let just delete it & even if it did I would need assurance it would not affect the affected listings) or stop filling in ANY MINIMUM PRICE & make it work where the "Business Price and Quantity Discounts" are actually 5% of the price the buyer purchases the item at not a stated "Business Price" which is related to a price that the item was once priced at.
Moderators--let me know if you have any questions on this. I have not opened a case on this. I did open 2 cases both closed without resolution 15990176971 & 15990420621 on issue 1. My faith in seller support is weak (I do not open cases anymore). I wish there was a way I could just bulk delete my minimum price on all of my listings.
