Self-service paths for dealing with brand ownership issues within the Brand Registry. Part 2

Hello Sellers and Brand Registry users!

I want to share with you some helpful self-service paths for dealing with brand ownership issues within the Brand Registry. These paths can be particularly useful in scenarios where:

1. The previous Brand Registry admin has left your company, or

2. Your brand was recently purchased from another brand owner.

Amazon understands that these situations can arise, and they offer two distinct paths to assist you, depending on your current status as a brand owner.

Today, I will share with you Path 2:

If your brand is not yet enrolled in the Brand Registry, you'll need to create a Brand Registry user account and attempt to enroll your new brand. During the enrollment process, if you encounter a situation where the trademark number you provide has already been registered by someone else, you will be presented with an option to appeal the existing registration as per screenshot below:

By following this self-service path, you can efficiently navigate brand ownership issues and ensure that your brand is properly represented and protected within the Brand Registry.

Feel free to share your experiences or ask any questions you may have in the comments below.

Happy selling!
