About Amazon.co.uk's VAT Service

Hi. I need big help and would like to have any information related unsubscribe Amazon VAT service.

I am from Japan and our company started to subscribe Amazon VAT service. Our Tax agent is Taxually.

We decided to stop selling items at Amazon.co.uk and tried to close our seller account.

So I submitted our unsubscribe Amazon VAT service in the end of March/2024. That was like questionnaire online and we submitted our willing of deregister UK and FRANCE VAT number and unsubscribe.

After that, no one took action for that. I asked Taxually about it and their answer was "we are waiting for contact and order of deregister all VAT numbers because we can't do it without any Amazon contact".

So I created the case at Amazon seller support and asked about it to Amazon, their answer is "Please waiting for contact from Taxually".

I tried to explain this misunderstanding both of them sending so many messages. Then, Taxually got contact from Amazon and asked me to pay fee for VAT deregistration. That was 14/May/2024. It is both of UK and France VAT.

Then, Taxually took action soon and our VAT of France was deregistered soon.

BUT, UK VAT still has not being any action. I tried to contact Amazon again many time. They just keep to say " Thank you for your patience. We understand the urgency of your situation regarding the service fee and are working closely with our technical team to reach a resolution on your case.Please, note that no further action is required from you for the moment and we will follow up with you as soon as additional information is available.Thank you for selling with Amazon."

I tried to explain and ask Amazon to make sure and confirm my situation because it was almost over 2monthes past since I submitted my VAT service unsubscribe.

One Amazon support staff think this is kind of serious problem and asked me to send the receipt of payment to Taxually for deregistration to toss this matter to their expert team for further investigation.

But still no action until now. 7/July/2024.

I have been charged by Amazon.co.uk every month even I am just waiting for their procedure done.

The charge fee is unclear so I asked to Amazon about this detail what kind of fee they charged me , but they don't unswer and just said " Thank you for your patience. We understand the urgency of your situation regarding the service fee and are working closely with our technical team to reach a resolution on your case.Please, note that no further action is required from you for the moment and we will follow up with you as soon as additional information is available.Thank you for selling with Amazon."

My terrible situation is just waiting for Amazon action that they don't contact Taxually about my VAT deregistration and Amazon keep charge me every month meaningless fee. This is just like a scam.

Is there anyone who had the same or similar experience as me?

I am so exhausted asking both of Amazon and Taxually and no body takes action even it is just deregistration apply.

It has been over 3months and drives me crazy. I am very in trouble. If anyone can give me advice , I appreciate it.

I have no idea what I should do for that.

I hope I could get help from someone who knows about Amazon VAT service unsubscribe and VAT deregister thing.
